Announcing the release of a new integration between Power Broker and IFS Online Account Browser (OLAB). Power Broker users are only a few clicks away from several usefull connections directly in to the IFS OLAB that you already know how to use. Simply click on the link to open an IFS login session or create a new IFS contract directly from Power Broker.

The Broker Access system called Online Account Browser (OLAB) has undergone a major security upgrade to insure privacy of your clients information. The upgrade also includes some minor cosmetic changes to make it more visually appealing.
Mar 1, 2012 - Updated Contract
In an ever changing regulated society, IFS is producing a slightly revised electronic contract effective March 1st, 2012 to reflect some regulatory disclosure that is required in certain provinces, but blanketed to all customers. There is nothing changing in our current processing method. In addition, the actual border color of the contract is changed to blue from green to match our corporate theme. Some things that were added were letters APR, which is an expression of Annual Rate and Total Cost of Credit, a wording required by financing regulations. We are making the changes at this time, even though some adjustments are not effective until 2013. Producing new contracts now, which could be in effect at that time, ensures we are compliant.

Jan 1, 2012 - Late Fees per our contract
When IFS receives a NSF notice on the clients’ account, many times there is a long delay in receiving the replacement payment. We have a policy, as per our contract, that late fees may be applied to these or other types of payments that are not received by the required payment date. In some cases these replacements are taking up to 25 days and this creates additional notices or calls to avoid potential cancellation. Although we are able to have discretion over this process in certain cases, these late will be applied and be required to be paid on the account. IFS works on behalf of the broker, to ensure that the account stays in effect and therefore enforcing these policies, will incent the client to remain on track during their payment periods.
